This page explains how to remove your data from Perch, including the marketing accounts you connect such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers what we collect and why.
Perch is operated by Thriving Colibri Ltd. The app is hosted at perch.thrivingcolibri.ai. If anything below is unclear, or you would rather we handle a deletion for you, email hello@thrivingcolibri.ai and we will deal with it.
How Perch holds your data
When you connect a marketing platform, you authorise Perch to read that account’s reporting data so we can build your report. Perch is read-only: it never creates, edits, pauses, or deletes anything in your connected accounts. There are three things to delete, and you control all of them:
- The connection itself — the authorisation that lets Perch read a platform. For Meta, this is a single access token stored against your workspace.
- A client’s report data — the dashboards, notes, budgets, branding, and cached figures for one client.
- Your whole account — everything above, across every client.
1. Disconnect Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
You can revoke Perch’s access to your Meta ad data directly from your own Facebook settings. This is the fastest way to stop Perch reading anything further, and it works even if you can’t sign in to Perch:
- Go to Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (on some accounts this is listed as Apps and websites).
- Find Perch in the list and choose Remove.
Removing Perch there immediately invalidates the access token, so Perch can no longer read your Meta ad accounts. To also delete the stored connection record and any cached Meta figures from Perch, email hello@thrivingcolibri.ai from the address on your Perch account, or delete the client or your account using the steps below. We will confirm once it is done.
2. Disconnect Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, or Business Profile
You can remove any single platform from a client without deleting the whole client:
- Open the client in Perch and go to Connections.
- Set that platform’s selector to “Not connected” and choose Save & apply.
Perch then stops fetching that platform’s data. These connections are managed through our connection provider, Composio, so deleting the client or your account (below) removes them entirely. You can also review and remove third-party app access from your Google Account security settings at any time.
3. Delete a single client
Inside Perch, each client lives in its own workspace. Deleting a client removes that client’s data in one step:
- Open the client in Perch and go to Connections.
- Scroll to Delete client and confirm.
This permanently removes that client’s dashboards, reports, connections, budgets, pots, context, branding, and share links. It can’t be undone.
4. Delete your whole account
To delete your entire Perch account and every client in it, email hello@thrivingcolibri.ai from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete or anonymise your account, your connections (including any stored Meta token), and your report data within a reasonable period, and confirm when it is done. Some records, such as billing history, may be kept only for as long as the law requires.
